30 years old

I turned 30 in 2008. I have mixed feelings about it. It doesn't seem that long ago that I was only 20. How time seems to go faster and faster . Kylee seemed to enjoy all the candles on my cake though so that made it ok. She always has a way to make you ok with stuff. That's going to get her in trouble some day. She's to cute for her own good. I digress.....
So here I am with Kylee in front of my 30 candle cake. It's amazing how little birthdays matter to you as you get older. I think this cake was a last minute thing cause Kylee wanted me to have one. Of course we all know that it was just so she could blow out the candles.
So now that I'm 30.......
-I can't stay up late very often anymore unless I want to suffer the next day.
-My back and knees always seem to be in some state of pain.
-I say stuff that reminds me of what I was told by my parents when I was a kid.
-My hair seems to be thinning to much on the top of my head.
The list goes on and on but I don't want to get to depressed thinking about it. ;P

Victory!

Another picture of Kylee from Summer 2008.

Kylee has learned the art of ruff housing from the best. She loves to climb and jump on her unsuspecting prey when they least expect it. Here, Kylee caught Pappa off guard as he watched his favorite TV show. Kylee is seen declaring her triumph as Mom snaps a picture. Don't feel bad for Pappa though, he is one of the guilty few that taught Kylee her skills in ruff housing. I myself have many a bump and bruise to show for my part in the education of Kylee and here promising career.........

Now that we have a blog, I better get everyone caught up on pics and family info for at least 2008.

I'll start with Kylee. The little monster has a passion for jumping off stuff. We often find her leaping from the couch, her bed, a foot stool, and much much more. Here she found that jumping from Mom's lawn chair to be very exciting. We try to limit her base jumping junky needs but she always finds a way to continue on with her passion when we're not looking. Often she gets her cousin Hunter in on the game as well.

I believe this is from Summer 2008. She was 2 years old at the time. I was hoping that as she got older she would out grow the "leaps of faith" but now that she is 3 it seems to be worse. We've been lucky that an emergency room visit has not been required yet. Lets all keep our fingers crossed that that will stay the case. I'm knocking on some wood as I type this......

We have a blog at last!

After joining facebook, Leslie and I discovered that many of our friends and family have blogs. Being a technology freak, you can imagine how I felt about this. ;) So here we are! A Dugger blog at last! Now we'll see if we can keep up with posting to it.......
